PEPE URGES RONALDO TO JOIN PSG

Pepe has called on Cristiano Ronaldo to join him at Paris Saint-Germain as the forward looks to quit Real Madrid, according to the El Transistor programme.

Ronaldo is currently with Pepe at the Confederations Cup with the Portugal squad, and the defender has been discussing the future with his club and international team-mate.

It is widely expected that Pepe will sign for PSG and he has urged Ronaldo, who is reportedly interested in a return to Manchester United, to follow him to the Parc des Princes.

ARSENAL READY €30M TURAN BID

Arsenal are preparing a €30 million offer to sign Arda Turan from Barcelona, according to reports in Turkey and Spain.

The 30-year-old has been told he is no longer wanted at the Catalan side, prompting Inter to make an approach. However, the Gunners are closer to a deal, with the former Atletico Madrid star interested in the joining Arsene Wenger’s side.
