MBAPPE MAKES MADRID REVELATION

MBAPPE 'SORTING THROUGH OFFERS' AS HE CLAIMS MADRID HAVE WANTED HIM SINCE HE WAS 14

The Monaco forward has become one of the most sought-after talents in world football and is expected to attract bids during the summer transfer window
Kylian Mbappe admits that he will “sort” through any offers this summer, with Real Madrid among those hoping to land the Monaco youngster.

The 18-year-old has positioned himself in the shop window with his exploits during a breakthrough campaign in 2016-17 which delivered 26 goals, the Ligue 1 title and senior international recognition.

Any deal to lure him away from Stade Louis II will not come cheap, but Europe’s top clubs are preparing to buy into his considerable potential.

That interest is likely to have grown on the back of Mbappe’s performance for France against England on Tuesday, with the youngster admitting afterwards that he has some big decisions to make.

He told reporters: "We're going to go away with the family and we'll think about what's going to happen.

“We have to sort it out, see what happens with the club too, because I'm under contract with a club, I'm not free. We'll see what's happening.”
La Liga and Champions League double winners Madrid are reported to be leading the chase for Mbappe.

They are preparing to offload the likes of Alvaro Morata and James Rodriguez this summer, with those sales helping to finance a move for Monaco’s exciting frontman.

Mabppe is aware of the interest but claims it is nothing new, with the Spanish giants having been chasing his signature for some time.

He added: “Real Madrid? They have been trying to recruit me since I was 14.”

Mbappe had just 14 appearances and one senior goal to his name prior to the 2016-17 campaign, but is now considered to be one of the hottest prospects in world football.
