MADRID BRACED FOR €180M RONALDO BID

Real Madrid will receive a bid for Cristiano Ronaldo worth €180 million, A Bola reports.

Several clubs have been linked with the Ballon d'Or winner, with Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and Monaco among the sides battling for the star. There is also interest from China.

LIVERPOOL SALAH BID STALLS

Liverpool's bid for Roma winger Mohamed Salah has hit a hiccup and as such they are studying other possibilities, Sky Sports reports.

Jurgen Klopp is looking at Sporting CP winger Gelson Martins, who has been valued at £40 million. In both cases, talks are ongoing.

WENGER HOLDS LACAZETTE TALKS

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has held talks with Lyon over a move for striker Alexandre Lacazette, according to The Sun.

The veteran coach was in France this week with chief executive Ivan Gazidis to meet Lyon president Jean-Michael Aulas, hoping to agree a fee for the France international.

And the Gunners are hopeful a contract worth £200,000 per week will tempt Lacazette to move to north London.

SOUTHAMPTON TARGET TUCHEL

Southampton are set to sack manager Claude Puel and target former Borussia Dortmund boss Thomas Tuchel as his replacement, according to The Sun.

Puel will be relieved of his duties this week after one season in charge, and the Saints are hopeful they can persuade Tuchel to move to the St. Mary's Stadium.

BOURNEMOUTH HOLD TERRY TALKS


Bournemouth have moved closer to signing Chelsea defender John Terry after talks with manager Eddie Howe, according to The Sun.

The Cherries have held off interest from West Brom to sign the former England captain, with Terry set to earn £100,000 per week.

UTD & CHELSEA EYE DYBALA

Manchester United and Chelsea are both showing an interest in signing Juventus forward Paulo Dybala, according to Mundo Deportivo.

United are set to miss out on signing Antoine Griezmann following Atletico Madrid's failure to appeal their transfer ban, and see Dybala as a potential alternative.

Chelsea, meanwhile, remain concerned they could lose Eden Hazard to Real Madrid despite his recent ankle injury and could require a replacement.
