 The Portuguese star was reported to be unhappy in the Spanish capital following scrutiny over tax fraud accusations, though he has decided to stay with the Liga champions.

 IBRA COULD STAY AT MAN UTD

 Zlatan Ibrahimovic could still play for Manchester United next season, the Mirror   reports, with the striker likely to be ready to take to the pitch again in January.

 The Swede accepted the club's offer to complete his recovery from a cruciate ligament injury under their care at Carrington, and will give the Red Devils first refusal once he is back to full fitness.

 PSG TO HIJACK ALVES DEAL

 Out-of-favour Manchester City forward Wilfried Bony is wanted by a number of Chinese Super League sides, according to the Independent , though Ligue 1 outfit Lille remain interested.

 The Etihad club are prepared to take a loss on the Ivory Coast international, who joined the club for £28 million in 2015 before spending time on loan at Stoke.

 LIVERPOOL OFFERED JAMES RODRIGUEZ

 Liverpool are among the clubs that have been offered Real Madrid attacker James Rodriguez according to SPORT .

 Rodriguez's agent Jorge Mendes has offered the Colombian international to the Reds, Manchester United, Inter Milan, Juventus, Manchester City and PSG, but none of the clubs have been willing to pay Madrid's asking price of €75 million.

 The report says Rodriguez's time in Madrid is finished with Dani Ceballos' imminent arrival, and unlike with Alvaro Morata, Zinedine Zidane is in a rush to sell.

 VAN DIJK TRYING TO FORCE LIVERPOOL MOVE

 Southampton defender Virgil van Dijk has told the club he will only accept a move to Liverpool, according to the Mirror .
